Similarly, you cant just force someone to sleep with you, or kill their best friend. You can't "make Obama think he's asian", the thought would occur to him, hey, I'm asian, and then he'd immediately think wait, no I'm not, why did I just think that? It's not absolute mind control, a thought occurring to someone doesn't mean they'll act on it, or believe it. Would you rather be able to read people's surface thoughts, or be able to push thoughts into their heads and have them think it was their own?ĮDIT: People have option 2 mixed up.
